Enya Lyrics
A page with the lyrics to Enya's works. Even I have to admit that she can be very hard to understand (especially since she is frequently not speaking English!), not that this is a bad thing, mind you. At some point, however, you want to know what she is saying. This is the place to find out.
Television
Babylon 5
Babylon 5 is easily one of the best shows ever to air on television. If you never watched it, you should have.
The Lurker's Guide to Babylon 5
Easily the best Babylon 5 page on the Web. It includes complete episode-by-episode guides (which are rather large and helpful), resources, and more.
Comics
Here are some of my favorite comic links online.
King Features Syndicate
King Features Syndicate. It has Buckles, Fast Track, Safe Havens, Tumbleweeds and other fun stuff.
Dilbert
Another much maligned comic, Dilbert is still generally funny. The humor is, of course, a bit geek oriented, but hey, you're on the web looking for comics... you'll get the joke.
Also, if you look carefully, from here you can jump to such comics as Robotman, For Better or For Worse, Jump Start, Get Fuzzy, Rose is Rose, 9 Chickweed Lane, Sheldon, and Luann.
Sherman's Lagoon
Another funny one. Obviously.
User Friendly
User Friendly is a 'net only cartoon. One of the funniest out there, in fact. Although the jokes score decidedly high on the Geek-o-Meter, and often require serious geek-backgrounds. Yes, I almost always understand them, gods help me.
Kevin and Kell
From the author of Safe Havens and On the Fasttrack comes Kevin and Kell (a 'net only strip, unlike the other two). A rabbit married to a wolf (with kids Rudy (wolf), Lindesferne (hedgehog) and Connie (wolf-rabbit)). Easily one of the best strips online anywhere.
Narbonic by Shaenon K. Garrity
Narbonic. You can't say enough about this strip. So I'll just give yo and say it's funny, it has a mad scientist, a computer guy in an office of women, and a lunatic law student who has guns. See, now you have to look.
Piled Higher and Deeper
PhD the comic. Life in grad school, made clear in its full gory horror.
Nukees
Another definite geek strip. This one is about a group of nuclear engineering graduate students (I'm close enough to the field to really, really sympathize). Published MWF, pretty funny.
General Protection Fault
Yeah, it's another geek-strip ('net only). GPF is a fairly new find for me, but it rapidly become one of my favorites. It's not as geeky as User Friendly, but there are plenty of hidden geeky jokes, too.
Sluggy Freelance
No, I don't know what the name means. No one does. But this is probably the funniest 'net strip available. It's generally accessible (not geeky) and usually a riot, too. Enjoy!
